A Site Engineer can only carry out work for which he/she has been trained. It is the responsibility of the Site Manager to ensure the training needs are met in advance of the need dates.
All Site Engineers must operate in strict compliance with Company and Customer Site Safety Rules, as well as the Thales Crisis Management Process.
Where assigned, the Site Engineer may be responsible for booking the required occupancies.
If assigned to Installation Supervision:
Supervise Site mark-out, as instructed by the Installation Manager
Be fully familiar with Installation process, standards and requirements
Supervise Installation Subcontractor to complete works in accordance with those requirements
Feedback on progress and issues encountered to the Installation Manager
Redline drawings (under approval of Installation Manager), as required.
If assigned to PICO Testing or Testing & Commissioning:
Be fully familiar with the Testing plan, procedures and process
Carry out works in accordance with those requirements
Feedback on progress and issues encountered to the related Test Lead
Fill in the Test Certificates during the process of the **** (this shall be done in real time)
